God's Redemption Story (Exodus - Joshua)نموونە
Passing through the Red Sea on dry land is a pretty big miracle. Surely, the Israelites were awed—and maybe a bit freaked out—to see the waters standing in towering walls on either side of them. They didn't know that their strangely dry walk was a form of baptism and an image of a greater future miracle.
When the Israelites crossed, they left their old life of slavery on the sea floor—so completely that their Egyptian taskmasters died under the water—and became a new nation under God’s leadership. When Jesus died on the cross, he washed away our identity as slaves to sin and gave us a new identity as his children.
God had a plan from the beginning to save his children and restore our relationship with him, and His Word shows that plan every step of the way.
