God Has Never Left You.نموونە
Do You Feel Lost?
We can all agree that 2020 has been a challenging season, and it completely disrupted our agendas.
Earlier this year, I personally went through an unexpected and heavy-hearted season when my wife needed surgery. In the midst of this I was experiencing a mid-life crisis; wondering whether I was doing the right thing or not, and I felt that what God had called me to do didn't align with my current situation.
When I dreamed of 2020, I thought it would be great, but it quickly became difficult.
Are you feeling the same way? If you are, know that you are not alone. You might be feeling lonely, stuck, or at a loss for words. If you aren't sure how to describe you feelings, be encouraged that God already knows. You can talk to Him about it.
When my wife needed surgery, I began to question God; “Is this not enough? I’ve been trying to always be obedient to you.Why do I have to go through this? ”
I felt lost and disappointed. I just wanted to stop doing everything, but God. He just chased me down and reminded me of this verse in the Bible:
The Prayer in Gethsemane | Matthew 26 : 38 (MEV) - "Then He said to them, "My soul is very sorrowful, even to death. Wait here, and keep watch with me.""
The Garden of Gethsemane is located at the foot of Mount of Olives. It had been used as a Jewish cemetery for the past 3000 years. It’s a dry and lonely place. Can you imagine the situation?
Jesus was in a lonely place.
Maybe you feel lonely or lost right now?
God is saying to you today: “I know what you are going through, and I have been there before. I have prayed alone at Gethsemane. I see you praying alone. I’m with you always!
I see that tears! I see sacrifices! I am here."
