Grace: Born That Wayنموونە
Is there a remedy for the lost soul?
Everyone sins when we choose our own version of good and evil instead of God’s.
When Adam and Eve rejected God’s standard, they realized their relationship was broken immediately. They covered up, hiding from God and each other. God is good. Even as His righteousness demands justice, His love provides grace - a remedy through the Seed:
“And I will put enmity
Between you and the woman,
And between your seed and her seed;
He shall bruise you on the head,
And you shall bruise him on the heel." - Gen 3:15
This is the first prophecy about Jesus, the promised Seed who restores our lost souls.
As you read Paul’s words again, ask yourself:
- Are you tired of defining good and evil for yourself?
- Are you tired of feeling lost or dis-integrated from God and His creation?
- Are you wondering if there is a remedy?
You can’t restore your soul by trying to “get it right.”
The remedy for the lost soul is the work of Jesus on the cross.
We look at the brutal torture of an innocent man on the cross and call it excruciatingly bad. “Cursed is the man who hangs on a tree.” But God calls it good. His “Seed” had to be planted. Jesus has the power to turn your bad into good. Those who trust in His death and resurrection are re-created, restored, and reconciled to God.
Only by repenting in total submission to Jesus and trusting in His death and resurrection to restore you to God can your soul be saved from an eternal existence of dis-integration.
God gave you specific traits, gifts, and talents to form who you were created to be. When you trust Jesus by the power of the Holy Spirit you are re-integrated with your true purpose. By Grace, you were created this way.
