Limitless Faith In An Untamable Godنموونە
Limitless Faith
“And without faith it is impossible to please God.” Hebrews 1: 6
“Faith is the confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.” Hebrews 11:1. Faith is the language of Divinity, the platform upon which an ordinary man can stand to provoke extraordinary happenings (John 14: 12). Through untamed faith, men before our times conquered kingdoms, administered justice, obtained promises, shut the mouths of lions, quenched the fury of the flames and escaped the edge of the sword. By faith, frail men routed foreign armies, survived terrible situations, overcame overwhelming temptations and soared above the realm of mortal limitations (Hebrews 1: 1- 39). Sometimes we pray, and we think that it has fallen on deaf ears. My brothers and sisters in Christ, we must refuse to wander blindly in self-limitation while we can command the mountains to be thrown into the sea. If we do, they will comply with unquestioned obedience.
Our Father in heaven honors the prayers of His children when they pray in faith. Trusting God to be God gives confidence and assurance that He will do what He said He will do. We are to walk by faith and not by sight. In doing so, it will help us to defy the odds of our logic, while living a life that pleases God through our faith.
Food for Thought: Faith is the language impossibilities understand. With faith, you can take absolute control of your life and environment. Faith is the currency of heaven to possess anything to the glory of God.
Action Point: Speak to any negative situations in your life today. Tell the storms and trials “Peace, be calm.” Stand on the promises of God, knowing that He will honor His Word.
Prayer Point: Dear Lord, help my unbelief and strengthen my trust. Take every limitation off of my faith and have Your way in my life. Grant me the grace of confidence in Your power. Amen.
