Colossians 3:25
Colossians 3:22-25 The Message (MSG)
Servants, do what you’re told by your earthly masters. And don’t just do the minimum that will get you by. Do your best. Work from the heart for your real Master, for God, confident that you’ll get paid in full when you come into your inheritance. Keep in mind always that the ultimate Master you’re serving is Christ. The sullen servant who does shoddy work will be held responsible. Being a follower of Jesus doesn’t cover up bad work.
Colossians 3:25 King James Version (KJV)
But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons.
Colossians 3:25 New American Standard Bible - NASB 1995 (NASB1995)
For he who does wrong will receive the consequences of the wrong which he has done, and that without partiality.
Colossians 3:25 New Century Version (NCV)
But remember that anyone who does wrong will be punished for that wrong, and the Lord treats everyone the same.
Colossians 3:25 American Standard Version (ASV)
For he that doeth wrong shall receive again for the wrong that he hath done: and there is no respect of persons.
Colossians 3:25 New International Version (NIV)
Anyone who does wrong will be repaid for their wrongs, and there is no favoritism.
Colossians 3:25 New King James Version (NKJV)
But he who does wrong will be repaid for what he has done, and there is no partiality.
Colossians 3:25 Amplified Bible (AMP)
For he who does wrong will be punished for his wrongdoing, and [with God] there is no partiality [no special treatment based on a person’s position in life].
Colossians 3:25 New Living Translation (NLT)
But if you do what is wrong, you will be paid back for the wrong you have done. For God has no favorites.
