1 Corinthians 16:9-10
1 Corinthians 16:9-10 Amplified Bible (AMP)
because a wide door for effective service has opened to me [in Ephesus, a very promising opportunity], and there are many adversaries. [Acts 19:23-41] If Timothy comes, see to it that [you put him at ease, so that] he has nothing to fear in regard to you, for he is [devotedly] doing the Lord’s work, just as I am.
1 Corinthians 16:5-11 The Message (MSG)
I plan to visit you after passing through northern Greece. I won’t be staying long there, but maybe I can stay awhile with you—maybe even spend the winter? Then you could give me a good send-off, wherever I may be headed next. I don’t want to just drop by in between other “primary” destinations. I want a good, long, leisurely visit. If the Master agrees, we’ll have it! For the present, I’m staying right here in Ephesus. A huge door of opportunity for good work has opened up here. (There is also mushrooming opposition.) If Timothy shows up, take good care of him. Make him feel completely at home among you. He works so hard for the Master, just as I do. Don’t let anyone disparage him. After a while, send him on to me with your blessing. Tell him I’m expecting him, and any friends he has with him.
1 Corinthians 16:9-10 King James Version (KJV)
For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries. Now if Timotheus come, see that he may be with you without fear: for he worketh the work of the Lord, as I also do.
1 Corinthians 16:9-10 New American Standard Bible - NASB 1995 (NASB1995)
for a wide door for effective service has opened to me, and there are many adversaries. Now if Timothy comes, see that he is with you without cause to be afraid, for he is doing the Lord’s work, as I also am.
1 Corinthians 16:9-10 New Century Version (NCV)
because a good opportunity for a great and growing work has been given to me now. And there are many people working against me. If Timothy comes to you, see to it that he has nothing to fear with you, because he is working for the Lord just as I am.
1 Corinthians 16:9-10 American Standard Version (ASV)

1 Corinthians 16:9-10 New International Version (NIV)
because a great door for effective work has opened to me, and there are many who oppose me. When Timothy comes, see to it that he has nothing to fear while he is with you, for he is carrying on the work of the Lord, just as I am.
1 Corinthians 16:9-10 New King James Version (NKJV)
For a great and effective door has opened to me, and there are many adversaries. And if Timothy comes, see that he may be with you without fear; for he does the work of the Lord, as I also do.
1 Corinthians 16:9-10 New Living Translation (NLT)
There is a wide-open door for a great work here, although many oppose me. When Timothy comes, don’t intimidate him. He is doing the Lord’s work, just as I am.
1 Corinthians 16:9-10 The Passion Translation (TPT)
There’s an amazing door of opportunity standing wide open for me to minister here, even though there are many who oppose and stand against me. When Timothy arrives, make sure that he feels at home while he’s with you, for he’s advancing the Lord’s work just as I am.
