This Bible study devotional covers Psalm 53. In this passage, the fool rejects God’s authority and selfishly preys on others. Rejection of God results in universal corruption. But God delivers people from the danger of fools. He is against the cannibalistic consumerism of the fool because he defends those who cry out to him. As always, we are committed to showing you how to see the good news of the Gospel in every passage of Scripture. In Psalm 53, we see that Jesus was the only one who did not reject God in his heart. Jesus took the foolishness of humanity on himself and let it consume him. In doing so he gave fools his wisdom!
