This Bible study devotional covers Job 7-9. In this passage, Bildad implies that Job is guilty of rejecting God and that explains why he’s suffering. But Job maintains his innocence even while he despairs that God would listen to him. So, Job hopes for an arbiter, an attorney to take his case to God.
