Come to the Feast!নমুনা
God rejoices when you come to His feast
“There is joy before the angels of God over one sinner who repents.” (Luke 15:10)
To be at God's feast is, of course, a tremendous privilege. Those present have every reason to be happy. But the Host, the Lord God Himself, also rejoices about every guest who accepts His invitation! Not because His feast would otherwise be ruined due to a lack of guests. After all, Revelation 7:9 speaks of “a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages” standing before God in beautiful white clothes. So why does the Lord want even more people to join them? Because He loves us. He wants the best for us, which is a future with Him. Only there can true happiness be found. That is why there is joy in heaven over every sinner who repents.
The Lord Jesus went to great lengths to offer sinners the possibility of forgiveness and reconciliation. He came to earth as a man for this purpose, endured ridicule and rejection, and died on a cross ... All this shows how deep His love for people goes. For His part, everything has been done to save us. He reaches out a hand to us, as it were, which we may gratefully accept.
Are you willing to do that and thereby say goodbye to your old, sinful life? What concrete steps are you going to take?
