How to Know the Holy Spiritনমুনা
When we are being led by the Holy Spirit like Jesus was, we begin to witness His supernatural power at work in our lives. This manifestation only occurs with our swift and complete obedience to His voice. Your obedience determines how high your relationship goes with Him. 1 Samuel 15, describes that the Lord delights and is satisfied with those who obey His voice rather than pay sacrifices to Him. If the Lord is leading you to distance some things in your life, it is best to listen and obey rather than hesitate and detain your next level of intimacy with the Holy Spirit.
Jesus walked in perfect unison with the Holy Spirit and listened to His direction to enter the desert for forty days. The leading of the Holy Spirit comes with being filled with Him. Whatever fills your life will ultimately lead you, and as you fill yourself with the Holy Spirit, you won't have to focus on hearing God, instead, it will come naturally.
To be filled continually means to make an effort each day to spend time communing with God through prayer. We are told to not be drunk with wine but instead be under the influence and controlled by the Holy Spirit. If someone just looks at a bottle of alcohol without taking action they won't become intoxicated. The same is true with the Holy Spirit in that we must take the initiative and decide to fill ourselves by drinking from the fountain that He provides. If you cannot feel the Holy Spirit, you will find Him in the Word.
Today's Challenge
Obedience is imperative if you want to know the Holy Spirit and it is the key to obtaining more power from Him in your daily walk. Today, make it a decision to act upon what the Holy Spirit is saying to you. If you wonder if you are hearing the voice of the Holy Spirit, then just test that voice with the Word of God and what the goodness of God is. Even if you are wrong or miss what the Holy Spirit is saying, God will still honor your willingness and quick response to obey.

About this Plan
In life, we search for something more to fill the void in our souls. The Holy Spirit is the only one who can fully fill and satisfy that void. Unfortunately, many people keep the Holy Spirit distant and are afraid of His power. As Christians, we have the privilege to access the Holy Spirit when we accept Jesus into our lives.
