Luke 12:26
Luke 12:25-28 The Message (MSG)
“Has anyone by fussing before the mirror ever gotten taller by so much as an inch? If fussing can’t even do that, why fuss at all? Walk into the fields and look at the wildflowers. They don’t fuss with their appearance—but have you ever seen color and design quite like it? The ten best-dressed men and women in the country look shabby alongside them. If God gives such attention to the wildflowers, most of them never even seen, don’t you think he’ll attend to you, take pride in you, do his best for you?
Luke 12:26 King James Version (KJV)
If ye then be not able to do that thing which is least, why take ye thought for the rest?
Luke 12:26 New American Standard Bible - NASB 1995 (NASB1995)
If then you cannot do even a very little thing, why do you worry about other matters?
Luke 12:26 New Century Version (NCV)
If you cannot do even the little things, then why worry about the big things?
Luke 12:26 American Standard Version (ASV)
If then ye are not able to do even that which is least, why are ye anxious concerning the rest?
Luke 12:26 New International Version (NIV)
Since you cannot do this very little thing, why do you worry about the rest?
Luke 12:26 New King James Version (NKJV)
If you then are not able to do the least, why are you anxious for the rest?
Luke 12:26 Amplified Bible (AMP)
So if you are not even able to do a very little thing [such as that], why are you worried about the rest?
Luke 12:26 New Living Translation (NLT)
And if worry can’t accomplish a little thing like that, what’s the use of worrying over bigger things?
