Deuteronomy 3:1-3

“Then we turned and went up the road toward Bashan, and at Edrei, Og king of Bashan, with all his people came out to meet us in battle. And the LORD said to me, ‘Do not fear him, for I have handed him over to you, him and all his people and his land; and you shall do to him just as you did to Sihon king of the Amorites, who lived at Heshbon.’ So the LORD our God also handed over Og king of Bashan, and all his people, into our hand and we struck him until no survivor was left.
