Romans 2:2
Romans 2:1-2 The Message (MSG)
Those people are on a dark spiral downward. But if you think that leaves you on the high ground where you can point your finger at others, think again. Every time you criticize someone, you condemn yourself. It takes one to know one. Judgmental criticism of others is a well-known way of escaping detection in your own crimes and misdemeanors. But God isn’t so easily diverted. He sees right through all such smoke screens and holds you to what you’ve done.
Romans 2:2 King James Version (KJV)
But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things.
Romans 2:2 New American Standard Bible - NASB 1995 (NASB1995)
And we know that the judgment of God rightly falls upon those who practice such things.
Romans 2:2 New Century Version (NCV)
God judges those who do wrong things, and we know that his judging is right.
Romans 2:2 American Standard Version (ASV)
And we know that the judgment of God is according to truth against them that practise such things.
Romans 2:2 New International Version (NIV)
Now we know that God’s judgment against those who do such things is based on truth.
Romans 2:2 New King James Version (NKJV)
But we know that the judgment of God is according to truth against those who practice such things.
Romans 2:2 Amplified Bible (AMP)
And we know that the judgment of God falls justly and in accordance with truth on those who practice such things.
Romans 2:2 New Living Translation (NLT)
And we know that God, in his justice, will punish anyone who does such things.
