Psalms 5:3-4
Psalms 5:1-6 The Message (MSG)
Listen, GOD! Please, pay attention! Can you make sense of these ramblings, my groans and cries? King-God, I need your help. Every morning you’ll hear me at it again. Every morning I lay out the pieces of my life on your altar and watch for fire to descend. You don’t socialize with Wicked, or invite Evil over as your houseguest. Hot-Air-Boaster collapses in front of you; you shake your head over Mischief-Maker. GOD destroys Lie-Speaker; Blood-Thirsty and Truth-Bender disgust you.
Psalms 5:3-4 King James Version (KJV)
My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; In the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up. For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: Neither shall evil dwell with thee.
Psalms 5:3-4 New American Standard Bible - NASB 1995 (NASB1995)
In the morning, O LORD, You will hear my voice; In the morning I will order my prayer to You and eagerly watch. For You are not a God who takes pleasure in wickedness; No evil dwells with You.
Psalms 5:3-4 New Century Version (NCV)
LORD, every morning you hear my voice. Every morning, I tell you what I need, and I wait for your answer. You are not a God who is pleased with the wicked; you do not live with those who do evil.
Psalms 5:3-4 American Standard Version (ASV)
O Jehovah, in the morning shalt thou hear my voice; In the morning will I order my prayer unto thee, and will keep watch. For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: Evil shall not sojourn with thee.
Psalms 5:3-4 New International Version (NIV)
In the morning, LORD, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly. For you are not a God who is pleased with wickedness; with you, evil people are not welcome.
Psalms 5:3-4 New King James Version (NKJV)
My voice You shall hear in the morning, O LORD; In the morning I will direct it to You, And I will look up. For You are not a God who takes pleasure in wickedness, Nor shall evil dwell with You.
Psalms 5:3-4 Amplified Bible (AMP)
In the morning, O LORD, You will hear my voice; In the morning I will prepare [a prayer and a sacrifice] for You and watch and wait [for You to speak to my heart]. ¶For You are not a God who takes pleasure in wickedness; No evil [person] dwells with You.
Psalms 5:3-4 New Living Translation (NLT)
Listen to my voice in the morning, LORD. Each morning I bring my requests to you and wait expectantly. O God, you take no pleasure in wickedness; you cannot tolerate the sins of the wicked.
Psalms 5:3-4 The Passion Translation (TPT)
At each and every sunrise you will hear my voice as I prepare my sacrifice of prayer to you. Every morning I lay out the pieces of my life on the altar and wait for your fire to fall upon my heart. I know that you, God, are never pleased with lawlessness, and evil ones will never be invited into your house.
