You gave us up to be devoured like sheep and have scattered us among the nations. You sold your people for a pittance, gaining nothing from their sale.

You have made us like sheep for slaughter and have scattered us among the nations. You have sold your people for a trifle, demanding no high price for them.

You have butchered us like sheep and scattered us among the nations. You sold your precious people for a pittance, making nothing on the sale.

You hand us over to be eaten like sheep and scatter us among the nations.  You sell your people for nothing; you make no profit from selling them.

Thou hast given us like sheep appointed for meat; And hast scattered us among the heathen. Thou sellest thy people for nought, And dost not increase thy wealth by their price.

You have given us up like sheep intended for food, And have scattered us among the nations. You sell Your people for next to nothing, And are not enriched by selling them.

But now you’ve walked off and left us, you’ve disgraced us and won’t fight for us. You made us turn tail and run; those who hate us have cleaned us out. You delivered us as sheep to the butcher, you scattered us to the four winds. You sold your people at a discount— you made nothing on the sale.

You turn us over to be eaten like sheep, And have scattered us among the nations. You sell Your people cheaply, And have not profited by their sale.

You have made us like sheep to be eaten [as mutton] And have scattered us [in exile] among the nations. You sell Your people cheaply, And have not increased Your wealth by their sale.

You handed us over like sheep to be eaten; you scattered us among the nations. You sold your people for a pittance; you did not ask a high price for them.
