Psalms 35:5-6
Psalms 35:5-6 New Living Translation (NLT)
Blow them away like chaff in the wind— a wind sent by the angel of the LORD. Make their path dark and slippery, with the angel of the LORD pursuing them.
Psalms 35:4-8 The Message (MSG)
When those thugs try to knife me in the back, make them look foolish. Frustrate all those who are plotting my downfall. Make them like cinders in a high wind, with GOD’s angel working the bellows. Make their road lightless and mud-slick, with GOD’s angel on their tails. Out of sheer cussedness they set a trap to catch me; for no good reason they dug a ditch to stop me. Surprise them with your ambush— catch them in the very trap they set, the disaster they planned for me.
Psalms 35:5-6 King James Version (KJV)
Let them be as chaff before the wind: And let the angel of the LORD chase them. Let their way be dark and slippery: And let the angel of the LORD persecute them.

Let them be like chaff before the wind, With the angel of the LORD driving them on. Let their way be dark and slippery, With the angel of the LORD pursuing them.

Make them like chaff blown by the wind as the angel of the LORD forces them away. Let their road be dark and slippery as the angel of the LORD chases them.
