Psalms 147:10-14
Psalms 147:7-18 The Message (MSG)
Sing to GOD a thanksgiving hymn, play music on your instruments to God, Who fills the sky with clouds, preparing rain for the earth, Then turning the mountains green with grass, feeding both cattle and crows. He’s not impressed with horsepower; the size of our muscles means little to him. Those who fear GOD get GOD’s attention; they can depend on his strength. Jerusalem, worship GOD! Zion, praise your God! He made your city secure, he blessed your children among you. He keeps the peace at your borders, he puts the best bread on your tables. He launches his promises earthward— how swift and sure they come! He spreads snow like a white fleece, he scatters frost like ashes, He broadcasts hail like birdseed— who can survive his winter? Then he gives the command and it all melts; he breathes on winter—suddenly it’s spring!
Psalms 147:10-14 King James Version (KJV)
He delighteth not in the strength of the horse: He taketh not pleasure in the legs of a man. The LORD taketh pleasure in them that fear him, In those that hope in his mercy. Praise the LORD, O Jerusalem; Praise thy God, O Zion. For he hath strengthened the bars of thy gates; He hath blessed thy children within thee. He maketh peace in thy borders, And filleth thee with the finest of the wheat.
Psalms 147:10-14 New American Standard Bible - NASB 1995 (NASB1995)
He does not delight in the strength of the horse; He does not take pleasure in the legs of a man. The LORD favors those who fear Him, Those who wait for His lovingkindness. Praise the LORD, O Jerusalem! Praise your God, O Zion! For He has strengthened the bars of your gates; He has blessed your sons within you. He makes peace in your borders; He satisfies you with the finest of the wheat.
Psalms 147:10-14 New Century Version (NCV)
He is not impressed with the strength of a horse or with human might. The LORD is pleased with those who respect him, with those who trust his love. Jerusalem, praise the LORD; Jerusalem, praise your God. He makes your city gates strong and blesses your children inside. He brings peace to your country and fills you with the finest grain.

Psalms 147:10-14 Amplified Bible (AMP)
He does not delight in the strength (military power) of the horse, Nor does He take pleasure in the legs (strength) of a man. The LORD favors those who fear and worship Him [with awe-inspired reverence and obedience], Those who wait for His mercy and lovingkindness. [Ps 145:20] ¶Praise the LORD, O Jerusalem! Praise your God, O Zion! For He has strengthened the bars of your gates, He has blessed your children within you. He makes peace in your borders; He satisfies you with the finest of the wheat.

Praise your God, O Zion! For he has strengthened the bars of your gates and blessed your children within your walls. He sends peace across your nation and satisfies your hunger with the finest wheat.
Psalms 147:10-14 The Passion Translation (TPT)
His people don’t find security in strong horses, for horsepower is nothing to him. Manpower is even less impressive! YAHWEH shows favor to those who fear him, those who wait for his tender embrace. Jerusalem, praise the Lord! Zion, worship your God! For he has strengthened the authority of your gates. He even blesses you with more children. He’s the one who brings peace to your borders, feeding you the most excellent of fare.
