Psalms 144:8-10
Psalms 144:5-10 The Message (MSG)
Step down out of heaven, GOD; ignite volcanoes in the hearts of the mountains. Hurl your lightnings in every direction; shoot your arrows this way and that. Reach all the way from sky to sea: pull me out of the ocean of hate, out of the grip of those barbarians Who lie through their teeth, who shake your hand then knife you in the back. O God, let me sing a new song to you, let me play it on a twelve-string guitar— A song to the God who saved the king, the God who rescued David, his servant.
Psalms 144:8-10 King James Version (KJV)
Whose mouth speaketh vanity, And their right hand is a right hand of falsehood. I will sing a new song unto thee, O God: Upon a psaltery and an instrument of ten strings will I sing praises unto thee. It is he that giveth salvation unto kings: Who delivereth David his servant from the hurtful sword.
Psalms 144:8-10 New American Standard Bible - NASB 1995 (NASB1995)
Whose mouths speak deceit, And whose right hand is a right hand of falsehood. I will sing a new song to You, O God; Upon a harp of ten strings I will sing praises to You, Who gives salvation to kings, Who rescues David His servant from the evil sword.
Psalms 144:8-10 New Century Version (NCV)

Their mouths are full of lies; they swear to tell the truth, but they lie instead. I will sing a new song to you, O God! I will sing your praises with a ten-stringed harp. For you grant victory to kings! You rescued your servant David from the fatal sword.
Psalms 144:8-10 The Passion Translation (TPT)
They speak nothing but lies; their words are pure deceit. Nothing they say can ever be trusted. My God, I will sing you a brand-new song! The harp inside my heart will make music to you! I will sing of you, the one who gives victory to kings— the one who rescues David, your loving servant, from the fatal sword.
