Psalms 11:4-6
Psalms 11:4-6 The Message (MSG)
But GOD hasn’t moved to the mountains; his holy address hasn’t changed. He’s in charge, as always, his eyes taking everything in, his eyelids Unblinking, examining Adam’s flesh and blood inside and out, not missing a thing. He tests the good and the bad alike; if anyone cheats, God’s outraged. Fail the test and you’re out, out in a hail of firestones, Drinking from a canteen filled with hot desert wind.
Psalms 11:4-6 King James Version (KJV)
The LORD is in his holy temple, The LORD's throne is in heaven: His eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men. The LORD trieth the righteous: But the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth. Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest: This shall be the portion of their cup.
Psalms 11:4-6 New American Standard Bible - NASB 1995 (NASB1995)
The LORD is in His holy temple; the LORD’S throne is in heaven; His eyes behold, His eyelids test the sons of men. The LORD tests the righteous and the wicked, And the one who loves violence His soul hates. Upon the wicked He will rain snares; Fire and brimstone and burning wind will be the portion of their cup.
Psalms 11:4-6 New Century Version (NCV)
The LORD is in his holy temple; the LORD sits on his throne in heaven. He sees what people do; he keeps his eye on them. The LORD tests those who do right, but he hates the wicked and those who love to hurt others. He will send hot coals and burning sulfur on the wicked. A whirlwind is what they will get.
Psalms 11:4-6 American Standard Version (ASV)

The LORD is in his holy temple; the LORD is on his heavenly throne. He observes everyone on earth; his eyes examine them. Psalms 11:4-6 Amplified Bible (AMP)
¶The LORD is in His holy temple; the LORD’S throne is in heaven. His eyes see, His eyelids test the children of men. [Acts 7:49; Rev 4:2] The LORD tests the righteous and the wicked, And His soul hates the [malevolent] one who loves violence. [James 1:12] Upon the wicked (godless) He will rain coals of fire; Fire and brimstone and a dreadful scorching wind will be the portion of their cup [of doom].
Psalms 11:4-6 New Living Translation (NLT)
But the LORD is in his holy Temple; the LORD still rules from heaven. He watches everyone closely, examining every person on earth. The LORD examines both the righteous and the wicked. He hates those who love violence. He will rain down blazing coals and burning sulfur on the wicked, punishing them with scorching winds.
Psalms 11:4-6 The Passion Translation (TPT)
Yet YAHWEH is never shaken— he is still found in his temple of holiness, reigning as King YAHWEH over all. He closely watches and examines everything man does. With a glance, his eyes examine every heart, for his heavenly rule will prevail over all. YAHWEH tests both the righteous and the wicked. God’s very soul detests lovers of violence. He will rain down upon them judgment for their sins. A scorching wind will be their lot in life.
