Psalms 106:9-10
Psalms 106:9-10 New Living Translation (NLT)
He commanded the Red Sea to dry up. He led Israel across the sea as if it were a desert. So he rescued them from their enemies and redeemed them from their foes.
Psalms 106:6-12 The Message (MSG)
We’ve sinned a lot, both we and our parents; We’ve fallen short, hurt a lot of people. After our parents left Egypt, they took your wonders for granted, forgot your great and wonderful love. They were barely beyond the Red Sea when they defied the High God —the very place he saved them! —the place he revealed his amazing power! He rebuked the Red Sea so that it dried up on the spot —he paraded them right through! —no one so much as got wet feet! He saved them from a life of oppression, pried them loose from the grip of the enemy. Then the waters flowed back on their oppressors; there wasn’t a single survivor. Then they believed his words were true and broke out in songs of praise.
Psalms 106:9-10 King James Version (KJV)
He rebuked the Red sea also, and it was dried up: So he led them through the depths, as through the wilderness. And he saved them from the hand of him that hated them, And redeemed them from the hand of the enemy.
Psalms 106:9-10 New American Standard Bible - NASB 1995 (NASB1995)
Thus He rebuked the Red Sea and it dried up, And He led them through the deeps, as through the wilderness. So He saved them from the hand of the one who hated them, And redeemed them from the hand of the enemy.
Psalms 106:9-10 New Century Version (NCV)
He commanded the Red Sea, and it dried up. He led them through the deep sea as if it were a desert. He saved them from those who hated them. He saved them from their enemies
Psalms 106:9-10 American Standard Version (ASV)
He rebuked the Red Sea also, and it was dried up: So he led them through the depths, as through a wilderness. And he saved them from the hand of him that hated them, And redeemed them from the hand of the enemy.
