Philippians 4:2,10
Philippians 4:2 The Message (MSG)
I urge Euodia and Syntyche to iron out their differences and make up. God doesn’t want his children holding grudges.
Philippians 4:10-14 The Message (MSG)
I’m glad in God, far happier than you would ever guess—happy that you’re again showing such strong concern for me. Not that you ever quit praying and thinking about me. You just had no chance to show it. Actually, I don’t have a sense of needing anything personally. I’ve learned by now to be quite content whatever my circumstances. I’m just as happy with little as with much, with much as with little. I’ve found the recipe for being happy whether full or hungry, hands full or hands empty. Whatever I have, wherever I am, I can make it through anything in the One who makes me who I am. I don’t mean that your help didn’t mean a lot to me—it did. It was a beautiful thing that you came alongside me in my troubles.
Philippians 4:2 King James Version (KJV)
I beseech Euodias, and beseech Syntyche, that they be of the same mind in the Lord.
Philippians 4:10 King James Version (KJV)
But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly, that now at the last your care of me hath flourished again; wherein ye were also careful, but ye lacked opportunity.
Philippians 4:2 New American Standard Bible - NASB 1995 (NASB1995)
I urge Euodia and I urge Syntyche to live in harmony in the Lord.
Philippians 4:10 New American Standard Bible - NASB 1995 (NASB1995)
But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly, that now at last you have revived your concern for me; indeed, you were concerned before, but you lacked opportunity.
Philippians 4:2 New Century Version (NCV)
I ask Euodia and Syntyche to agree in the Lord.
Philippians 4:10 New Century Version (NCV)
I am very happy in the Lord that you have shown your care for me again. You continued to care about me, but there was no way for you to show it.
Philippians 4:2 American Standard Version (ASV)
I exhort Euodia, and I exhort Syntyche, to be of the same mind in the Lord.
Philippians 4:10 American Standard Version (ASV)
But I rejoice in the Lord greatly, that now at length ye have revived your thought for me; wherein ye did indeed take thought, but ye lacked opportunity.
Philippians 4:2 New International Version (NIV)
I plead with Euodia and I plead with Syntyche to be of the same mind in the Lord.
Philippians 4:10 New International Version (NIV)
I rejoiced greatly in the Lord that at last you renewed your concern for me. Indeed, you were concerned, but you had no opportunity to show it.
Philippians 4:2 New King James Version (NKJV)
I implore Euodia and I implore Syntyche to be of the same mind in the Lord.
Philippians 4:10 New King James Version (NKJV)
But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly that now at last your care for me has flourished again; though you surely did care, but you lacked opportunity.
Philippians 4:2 Amplified Bible (AMP)
I urge Euodia and I urge Syntyche to agree and to work in harmony in the Lord.
Philippians 4:10 Amplified Bible (AMP)
I rejoiced greatly in the Lord, that now at last you have renewed your concern for me; indeed, you were concerned about me before, but you had no opportunity to show it.
Philippians 4:2 New Living Translation (NLT)
Now I appeal to Euodia and Syntyche. Please, because you belong to the Lord, settle your disagreement.
Philippians 4:10 New Living Translation (NLT)
How I praise the Lord that you are concerned about me again. I know you have always been concerned for me, but you didn’t have the chance to help me.
Philippians 4:2 The Passion Translation (TPT)
And I plead with Euodia and Syntyche to settle their disagreement and be restored with one mind in our Lord.
Philippians 4:10 The Passion Translation (TPT)
My heart overflows with joy when I think of how you demonstrated love to me by your financial support of my ministry. For even though you have so little, you still continue to help me at every opportunity.
