Isaiah 22:8
Isaiah 22:4-11 The Message (MSG)
In the midst of the shouting, I said, “Let me alone. Let me grieve by myself. Don’t tell me it’s going to be all right. These people are doomed. It’s not all right.” For the Master, GOD-of-the-Angel-Armies, is bringing a day noisy with mobs of people, Jostling and stampeding in the Valley of Vision, knocking down walls and hollering to the mountains, “Attack! Attack!” Old enemies Elam and Kir arrive armed to the teeth— weapons and chariots and cavalry. Your fine valleys are noisy with war, chariots and cavalry charging this way and that. God has left Judah exposed and defenseless. You looked and looked and looked, but you never looked to him who gave you this city, never once consulted the One who has long had plans for this city.
Isaiah 22:8 King James Version (KJV)
And he discovered the covering of Judah, and thou didst look in that day to the armour of the house of the forest.
Isaiah 22:8 New American Standard Bible - NASB 1995 (NASB1995)
And He removed the defense of Judah. In that day you depended on the weapons of the house of the forest
Isaiah 22:8 New Century Version (NCV)
The walls protecting Judah will fall. At that time the people of Jerusalem depended on the weapons kept at the Palace of the Forest.
Isaiah 22:8 American Standard Version (ASV)
And he took away the covering of Judah; and thou didst look in that day to the armor in the house of the forest.
Isaiah 22:8 New International Version (NIV)

Isaiah 22:8 New King James Version (NKJV)
He removed the protection of Judah. You looked in that day to the armor of the House of the Forest
Isaiah 22:8 Amplified Bible (AMP)
Then God removed the [protective] covering of Judah; And in that day you looked to the weapons of the House of the Forest (Solomon’s armory). [1 Kin 7:2; 10:17, 21]

Judah’s defenses have been stripped away. You run to the armory for your weapons.
