Galatians 6:5,7-8
Galatians 6:4-5 The Message (MSG)
Make a careful exploration of who you are and the work you have been given, and then sink yourself into that. Don’t be impressed with yourself. Don’t compare yourself with others. Each of you must take responsibility for doing the creative best you can with your own life.
Galatians 6:7-8-7-8 The Message (MSG)
Don’t be misled: No one makes a fool of God. What a person plants, he will harvest. The person who plants selfishness, ignoring the needs of others—ignoring God!—harvests a crop of weeds. All he’ll have to show for his life is weeds! But the one who plants in response to God, letting God’s Spirit do the growth work in him, harvests a crop of real life, eternal life.
Galatians 6:7-8 King James Version (KJV)
Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
Galatians 6:5 New American Standard Bible - NASB 1995 (NASB1995)
For each one will bear his own load.
Galatians 6:7-8 New American Standard Bible - NASB 1995 (NASB1995)
Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap. For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.
Galatians 6:5 New Century Version (NCV)
Each person must be responsible for himself.
Galatians 6:7-8 New Century Version (NCV)
Do not be fooled: You cannot cheat God. People harvest only what they plant. If they plant to satisfy their sinful selves, their sinful selves will bring them ruin. But if they plant to please the Spirit, they will receive eternal life from the Spirit.
Galatians 6:5 American Standard Version (ASV)
For each man shall bear his own burden.
Galatians 6:7-8 American Standard Version (ASV)
Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth unto his own flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth unto the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap eternal life.
Galatians 6:5 New International Version (NIV)
for each one should carry their own load.
Galatians 6:7-8 New International Version (NIV)
Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.
Galatians 6:5 New King James Version (NKJV)
For each one shall bear his own load.
Galatians 6:7-8 New King James Version (NKJV)
Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.
Galatians 6:5 Amplified Bible (AMP)
For every person will have to bear [with patience] his own burden [of faults and shortcomings for which he alone is responsible].
Galatians 6:7-8 Amplified Bible (AMP)
Do not be deceived, God is not mocked [He will not allow Himself to be ridiculed, nor treated with contempt nor allow His precepts to be scornfully set aside]; for whatever a man sows, this and this only is what he will reap. For the one who sows to his flesh [his sinful capacity, his worldliness, his disgraceful impulses] will reap from the flesh ruin and destruction, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.
Galatians 6:5 New Living Translation (NLT)
For we are each responsible for our own conduct.
Galatians 6:7-8 New Living Translation (NLT)
Don’t be misled—you cannot mock the justice of God. You will always harvest what you plant. Those who live only to satisfy their own sinful nature will harvest decay and death from that sinful nature. But those who live to please the Spirit will harvest everlasting life from the Spirit.
Galatians 6:5 The Passion Translation (TPT)
Every believer is ultimately responsible for his or her own conscience.
Galatians 6:7-8 The Passion Translation (TPT)
God will never be mocked! For what you plant will always be the very thing you harvest. The harvest you reap reveals the seed that you planted. If you plant the corrupt seeds of self-life into this natural realm, you can expect a harvest of corruption. If you plant the good seeds of Spirit-life you will reap beautiful fruits that grow from the everlasting life of the Spirit.
Galatians 6:5 English Standard Version 2016 (ESV)
For each will have to bear his own load.
