Galatians 3:10,13,24
Galatians 3:10 New International Version (NIV)
For all who rely on the works of the law are under a curse, as it is written: “Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law.”
Galatians 3:13 New International Version (NIV)
Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole.”
Galatians 3:24 New International Version (NIV)
So the law was our guardian until Christ came that we might be justified by faith.
Galatians 3:10 New Living Translation (NLT)
But those who depend on the law to make them right with God are under his curse, for the Scriptures say, “Cursed is everyone who does not observe and obey all the commands that are written in God’s Book of the Law.”
Galatians 3:13 New Living Translation (NLT)
But Christ has rescued us from the curse pronounced by the law. When he was hung on the cross, he took upon himself the curse for our wrongdoing. For it is written in the Scriptures, “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree.”
Galatians 3:24 New Living Translation (NLT)
Let me put it another way. The law was our guardian until Christ came; it protected us until we could be made right with God through faith.
Galatians 3:10 English Standard Version 2016 (ESV)
For all who rely on works of the law are under a curse; for it is written, “Cursed be everyone who does not abide by all things written in the Book of the Law, and do them.”
Galatians 3:13 English Standard Version 2016 (ESV)
Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us—for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who is hanged on a tree”
Galatians 3:24 English Standard Version 2016 (ESV)
So then, the law was our guardian until Christ came, in order that we might be justified by faith.
Galatians 3:9-10 The Message (MSG)
So those now who live by faith are blessed along with Abraham, who lived by faith—this is no new doctrine! And that means that anyone who tries to live by his own effort, independent of God, is doomed to failure. Scripture backs this up: “Utterly cursed is every person who fails to carry out every detail written in the Book of the law.”
Galatians 3:13-14 The Message (MSG)
Christ redeemed us from that self-defeating, cursed life by absorbing it completely into himself. Do you remember the Scripture that says, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”? That is what happened when Jesus was nailed to the cross: He became a curse, and at the same time dissolved the curse. And now, because of that, the air is cleared and we can see that Abraham’s blessing is present and available for non-Jews, too. We are all able to receive God’s life, his Spirit, in and with us by believing—just the way Abraham received it. * * *
Galatians 3:23-24 The Message (MSG)
Until the time when we were mature enough to respond freely in faith to the living God, we were carefully surrounded and protected by the Mosaic law. The law was like those Greek tutors, with which you are familiar, who escort children to school and protect them from danger or distraction, making sure the children will really get to the place they set out for.
Galatians 3:10 King James Version (KJV)
For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.
Galatians 3:13 King James Version (KJV)
Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree
Galatians 3:24 King James Version (KJV)
Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.
Galatians 3:10 New American Standard Bible - NASB 1995 (NASB1995)
For as many as are of the works of the Law are under a curse; for it is written, “CURSED IS EVERYONE WHO DOES NOT ABIDE BY ALL THINGS WRITTEN IN THE BOOK OF THE LAW, TO PERFORM THEM.”
Galatians 3:13 New American Standard Bible - NASB 1995 (NASB1995)
Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Law, having become a curse for us—for it is written, “CURSED IS EVERYONE WHO HANGS ON A TREE”
Galatians 3:24 New American Standard Bible - NASB 1995 (NASB1995)
Therefore the Law has become our tutor to lead us to Christ, so that we may be justified by faith.
Galatians 3:10 New Century Version (NCV)
But those who depend on following the law to make them right are under a curse, because the Scriptures say, “Anyone will be cursed who does not always obey what is written in the Book of the Law.”
Galatians 3:13 New Century Version (NCV)
Christ took away the curse the law put on us. He changed places with us and put himself under that curse. It is written in the Scriptures, “Anyone whose body is displayed on a tree is cursed.”
Galatians 3:24 New Century Version (NCV)
In other words, the law was our guardian leading us to Christ so that we could be made right with God through faith.
Galatians 3:10 American Standard Version (ASV)
For as many as are of the works of the law are under a curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one who continueth not in all things that are written in the book of the law, to do them.
Galatians 3:13 American Standard Version (ASV)
Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us; for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree

So that the law is become our tutor to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.

Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”)
Galatians 3:24 New King James Version (NKJV)
Therefore the law was our tutor to bring us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith.
Galatians 3:10 Amplified Bible (AMP)
For all who depend on the Law [seeking justification and salvation by obedience to the Law and the observance of rituals] are under a curse; for it is written, “CURSED (condemned to destruction) IS EVERYONE WHO DOES NOT ABIDE BY ALL THINGS WRITTEN IN THE BOOK OF THE LAW, SO AS TO PRACTICE THEM.” [Deut 27:26]
Galatians 3:13 Amplified Bible (AMP)
Christ purchased our freedom and redeemed us from the curse of the Law and its condemnation by becoming a curse for us—for it is written, “CURSED IS EVERYONE WHO HANGS [crucified] ON A TREE (cross)”— [Deut 21:23]
Galatians 3:24 Amplified Bible (AMP)
with the result that the Law has become our tutor and our disciplinarian to guide us to Christ, so that we may be justified [that is, declared free of the guilt of sin and its penalty, and placed in right standing with God] by faith.
Galatians 3:10 The Passion Translation (TPT)
But if you rely on works of keeping the law for salvation, you live under the law’s curse. For it is clearly written: “Utterly cursed is everyone who fails to practice every detail and requirement that is written in this law!”
