1 Corinthians 6:5
1 Corinthians 6:5-6 The Message (MSG)
I say this as bluntly as I can to wake you up to the stupidity of what you’re doing. Is it possible that there isn’t one levelheaded person among you who can make fair decisions when disagreements and disputes come up? I don’t believe it. And here you are taking each other to court before people who don’t even believe in God! How can they render justice if they don’t believe in the God of justice?
1 Corinthians 6:5 King James Version (KJV)
I speak to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you? no, not one that shall be able to judge between his brethren?
1 Corinthians 6:5 New American Standard Bible - NASB 1995 (NASB1995)
I say this to your shame. Is it so, that there is not among you one wise man who will be able to decide between his brethren
1 Corinthians 6:5 New Century Version (NCV)
I say this to shame you. Surely there is someone among you wise enough to judge a complaint between believers.
1 Corinthians 6:5 American Standard Version (ASV)
I say this to move you to shame. What, cannot there be found among you one wise man who shall be able to decide between his brethren
1 Corinthians 6:5 New International Version (NIV)
I say this to shame you. Is it possible that there is nobody among you wise enough to judge a dispute between believers?
1 Corinthians 6:5 New King James Version (NKJV)
I say this to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you, not even one, who will be able to judge between his brethren?
1 Corinthians 6:5 Amplified Bible (AMP)
I say this to your shame. Can it be that there is not one wise man among you who [is governed by integrity and] will be able and competent to decide [private disputes] between his fellow believers
1 Corinthians 6:5 New Living Translation (NLT)
I am saying this to shame you. Isn’t there anyone in all the church who is wise enough to decide these issues?
