1 Corinthians 15:42,50
1 Corinthians 15:42 King James Version (KJV)
So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption
1 Corinthians 15:50 King James Version (KJV)
Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
1 Corinthians 15:42 New King James Version (NKJV)
So also is the resurrection of the dead. The body is sown in corruption, it is raised in incorruption.
I Corinthians 15:50 New King James Version (NKJV)
Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does corruption inherit incorruption.
1 Corinthians 15:42 New Living Translation (NLT)
It is the same way with the resurrection of the dead. Our earthly bodies are planted in the ground when we die, but they will be raised to live forever.
1 Corinthians 15:50 New Living Translation (NLT)
What I am saying, dear brothers and sisters, is that our physical bodies cannot inherit the Kingdom of God. These dying bodies cannot inherit what will last forever.
1 Corinthians 15:42 English Standard Version 2016 (ESV)
So is it with the resurrection of the dead. What is sown is perishable; what is raised is imperishable.
1 Corinthians 15:50 English Standard Version 2016 (ESV)
I tell you this, brothers: flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable.
1 Corinthians 15:42-44 The Message (MSG)
This image of planting a dead seed and raising a live plant is a mere sketch at best, but perhaps it will help in approaching the mystery of the resurrection body—but only if you keep in mind that when we’re raised, we’re raised for good, alive forever! The corpse that’s planted is no beauty, but when it’s raised, it’s glorious. Put in the ground weak, it comes up powerful. The seed sown is natural; the seed grown is supernatural—same seed, same body, but what a difference from when it goes down in physical mortality to when it is raised up in spiritual immortality!
1 Corinthians 15:50 The Message (MSG)
I need to emphasize, friends, that our natural, earthy lives don’t in themselves lead us by their very nature into the kingdom of God. Their very “nature” is to die, so how could they “naturally” end up in the Life kingdom?
1 Corinthians 15:42 New American Standard Bible - NASB 1995 (NASB1995)
So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown a perishable body, it is raised an imperishable body
1 Corinthians 15:50 New American Standard Bible - NASB 1995 (NASB1995)
Now I say this, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable.
1 Corinthians 15:42 New Century Version (NCV)
It is the same with the dead who are raised to life. The body that is “planted” will ruin and decay, but it is raised to a life that cannot be destroyed.
1 Corinthians 15:50 New Century Version (NCV)
I tell you this, brothers and sisters: Flesh and blood cannot have a part in the kingdom of God. Something that will ruin cannot have a part in something that never ruins.
1 Corinthians 15:42 American Standard Version (ASV)
So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption
1 Corinthians 15:50 American Standard Version (ASV)
Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
1 Corinthians 15:42 New International Version (NIV)
So will it be with the resurrection of the dead. The body that is sown is perishable, it is raised imperishable
1 Corinthians 15:50 New International Version (NIV)
I declare to you, brothers and sisters, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable.
1 Corinthians 15:42 Amplified Bible (AMP)
So it is with the resurrection of the dead. The [human] body that is sown is perishable and mortal, it is raised imperishable and immortal. [Dan 12:3]
1 Corinthians 15:50 Amplified Bible (AMP)
Now I say this, believers, that flesh and blood cannot inherit nor be part of the kingdom of God; nor does the perishable (mortal) inherit the imperishable (immortal).
