He looked up. “I see men. They look like walking trees.” So Jesus laid hands on his eyes again. The man looked hard and realized that he had recovered perfect sight, saw everything in bright, twenty-twenty focus. Jesus sent him straight home, telling him, “Don’t enter the village.” Jesus and his disciples headed out for the villages around Caesarea Philippi. As they walked, he asked, “Who do the people say I am?” “Some say ‘John the Baptizer,’” they said. “Others say ‘Elijah.’ Still others say ‘one of the prophets.’” He then asked, “And you—what are you saying about me? Who am I?” Peter gave the answer: “You are the Christ, the Messiah.”

Join me as we explore one of the strangest miracles performed by Jesus when he walked with us. We'll be with the blind man from Bethsaida. Listening to God with our children can be one of the greatest joys of our lives. When we listen to God with our children, it creates a human-to-human connection and a divine-to-human connection that cannot be easily broken. Over the next five days, we will engage five passages from the life of Jesus that will open us to listening to God with family.
When we think of productivity, we may look to entrepreneurs, CEOs, and productivity authors. How often, however, does Jesus come to mind? He traveled vast areas, reached an immeasurable number of people, and even today is one of the most revered persons ever to have lived. He is also our friend and Savior. Learning to be more productive may begin then, as in all things, with following him.
Prayer is vital to every believer. Many of us have been praying since we learned to speak, yet there are times we struggle with prayer, we wonder if we’re doing it right and if it does change anything. In this five-day devotional we will look at the changes that come because of engaging in prayer, and it’s not always what we expect.
