1 Corinthiens 1:29-31

We live in a society that is in love with itself. We are immensely focused on ourselves, and this is making us unhappy and unfulfilled. Why? Because we were not created for ourselves, but to give glory to God! Discover that you have been chosen for a purpose, become aware of it, and start living according to the good pleasure of God’s will. You will never be the same!

Have you ever doubted or questioned the impact of your service to God? Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, is not known for walking on water; nevertheless, his actions, as little or insignificant as they may seem, had great value in the eyes of God. Andrew understood the importance of one single soul, of faithful service, and how small things can become great in the hands of an Almighty God.

“Different…why can’t they see it’s hard to be different.” This devotion explores our identity, purpose, and strength in Christ. Be encouraged that God LOVES differences and variety, and that these are actually gifts. Stand your ground, be proud of who you’ll become, and don’t ever run or hide from who you really are.

A paradox is a truth that appears contradictory but proves to be profoundly true. At the heart of Christianity stands the greatest paradox of all—the cross. Through the death of Jesus, sinners receive life, the guilty receive forgiveness, and the condemned receive hope. In this series, we will discover how God's power is displayed through apparent weakness, His kingdom advances through unlikely people, and our hope and victory are secured through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Together, these paradoxes reveal that God's wisdom and ways are far greater than human understanding.
