Through His death, burial and resurrection, Jesus accomplished far more than simply acquiring a way for us to go to heaven when we die. In this devotional, we are going to look at what Jesus accomplished and the importance of remembrance through communion. Join us in Remembering Jesus.

This first part of the series, “The Uniqueness of Christ,” shows us Jesus’ unique request and how it relates to the body of Christ. This profound yet timely plan helps us understand why the physical body of Jesus Christ had to be broken, the new body that He gave birth to with his death, and the importance of His blood as a sign of a new covenant for us.

Jesus’ death and resurrection, as well as the promise of His return, prove His unending love for each of us both in words and deeds. Jesus said that there is no greater love than someone giving his life for his friends, but He didn’t merely say it. He did it.
