2 Peter 3:14-1418

Shortly after writing his first letter, Peter hears word of false teaching spreading amongst the churches in Asia Minor. The letter focuses on combating false teachers and encouraging believers to grow in spiritual maturity by studying the Scriptures. Second Peter reminds us to be diligent in confirming our calling by cultivating Christ-likeness in all aspects of our lives.

What better model can we provide for our children than to rely on God’s Word (Jeremiah 15:16) and allow it to permeate our lives?
