David spoke to ADONAI the words of this song in the day that ADONAI delivered him from the hand of all his enemies and from the hand of Saul. He said: “ADONAI is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer. My God is my rock, in Him I take refuge, my shield, my horn of salvation, my stronghold and my refuge, my Savior—You save me from violence.
