JESUS: HIS LIFE, a new series on HISTORY, explores Jesus through the lens of those closest to Him, and this devotional is designed to inspire you with stories of people in the Bible whose lives were dramatically changed by Jesus, in part because their expectations of who they thought He was or who they wanted Him to be were way off.
The vocations represented in the characters of Easter can teach us a lot about God and how our work is a means of co-laboring with our risen King. In this four-day plan, we’ll look at the vocations of Mary, a baker, Barabbas, and Christ himself to draw out applications for our own work today.
The Divine Love Story by Richard Anderson invites you into a transformative journey through Jesus’ ministry, revealing the depth of God’s love and call to discipleship. Each day pairs scripture with reflections to inspire deeper faith and devotion.
The bravery to live a life worth living doesn’t come from following five easy steps, reading a book, or redecorating your house. You get your power, joy, purpose, self-worth, and the bravery to live it all out directly from Jesus. Through the stories of the women of the Bible, we see that God can be encountered no matter who you are, what your status is, or where you live. Whether you're tackling huge obstacles or just going about your day-to-day, Jesus equips and encourages you to do incredible things for your good and His glory.
