Mark 4:2, 13, 33

He taught them many things by using parables to illustrate spiritual truths, saying

Then he said to them, “If you don’t understand this parable, how will you understand any parable?

Jesus used many parables such as these as he taught the people, and they learned according to their ability to understand.
