You think you can steal and murder, commit adultery and perjury, burn incense to Baal, and go after other gods that you have not known, and then come and stand in my presence? You think you can come into this house called by my name and say, “We are safe!”—only to keep doing all these disgusting things? Do you really consider this house that bears my name to be a robbers’ den? I know everything that you have been doing! I, YAHWEH, have spoken. “ ‘Just go to the place where my sanctuary once stood in Shiloh, where I first made a dwelling place for my name. And when you see its rubble, understand what I did in response to the wickedness of the people of Israel. Even while you were doing these things, I, YAHWEH, spoke to you over and over and called to you, but you would neither listen nor answer me. So I will do to this temple what I did before in Shiloh. You have put your trust in this temple, which bears my name, but I will destroy this very sanctuary that I gave to you and your ancestors.

5 Days
She Reads Truth is an online movement of women committed to reading God’s Word daily and growing in the knowledge of the gospel in our everyday lives. This reading plan is a collection of five of our writers’ favorite SRT devotionals from the past year. We invite you to read along and follow the links at the end of each day to engage in discussion with the She Reads Truth community.
Our highest privilege is to worship our holy and gracious Creator. But how do we worship God in a way that is pleasing to Him? What should the style and structure of the church’s worship look like, and what about the state of our heart as we come before the Lord in praise? This five-day study touches on each of these questions, providing a brief introduction to biblical worship.
For many of us, the story of Jesus’ death and resurrection is a familiar one. But, what about the week before? The days that lead up to Jesus’ death are filled with stories that give us insight into how he fulfilled God’s plan for creation in an unexpected, but powerful way. Experience his humanity and love for us as you walk with him through his final week on Earth.
8 Days
1600 years ago Christians began calling the last days of Jesus’ life “Holy Week.” This eight-day reading plan will explain what happened on each of Jesus' final days and why those events, while often tragic, are ultimately good news. Each day there will be a short reading from a psalm, one of the Old Testament prophets, and a few verses from the New Testament. There will also be a short devotional to guide you through those passages and see the significance of Jesus' last days on earth.
