YAHWEH opened my eyes to see a supernatural vision. It happened after King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon had taken into captivity Jehoiakim’s son King Jeconiah, his officials, and all artisans and skilled workers and brought them to Babylon. In this vision, I saw two baskets of figs placed in front of YAHWEH’s temple. One basket was full of excellent figs that ripened early, and the other was full of rotten figs that were not fit to eat. “Jeremiah,” YAHWEH asked, “what do you see?” “Figs,” I said. “Some are very good, but the others are very bad, too rotten to eat.”
