Genesis 32:28-30

“Not anymore,” the man said to him. “Your new name is Israel, for you have struggled both with God and with people and have overcome.” Jacob said, “Please, tell me your name.” “Why ask my name?” the man replied, then he spoke a blessing over Jacob. So Jacob named the place Penuel, saying, “I have seen God face-to-face, yet my life has been spared!”
