Learning to forgive brings you closer to the healing and restoration your soul needs. In this study, you will explore God's Word and reflect on: what is forgiveness, why we forgive, and how forgiving leads to healing. This study is part 5 of the Never Alone: Trauma Healing series. While written for the military community, the themes apply to anyone who has experienced intense trials and wants to heal.

In this devotional, we will walk through biblical stories of a few patriarchs who were betrayed. With each word scribed in this devotional, my hope and prayer are that you will find the strength to forgive those who have betrayed you and that you will trust that God has a plan in a plan.

Why are we working so hard? Certainly, part of our ambition is to glorify God and do good for others. But when we inevitably find ourselves in seasons of overwork, we’d be wise to ask this question: What is the work beneath our work? In this four-day plan, we’ll explore some of the most common answers to that question and look to the gospel for rest.

Have you been hurt? Unfortunately, most of us have. But while it’s normal to sometimes get hurt, it’s not okay to stay hurt – that’s unforgiveness, and it’s like drinking poison and expecting the other guy to die. It’s eating your lunch! This five day plan can help you leave the hurt behind by forgiving even the toughest person or the most horrible event, so that your heart can be free for good.
