(as it is written [in Scripture], “I HAVE MADE YOU A FATHER OF MANY NATIONS”) in the sight of Him in whom he believed, that is, God who gives life to the dead and calls into being that which does not exist. [Gen 17:5] In hope against hope Abraham believed that he would become a father of many nations, as he had been promised [by God]: “SO [numberless] SHALL YOUR DESCENDANTS BE.” [Gen 15:5] Without becoming weak in faith he considered his own body, now as good as dead [for producing children] since he was about a hundred years old, and [he considered] the deadness of Sarah’s womb. [Gen 17:17; 18:11]

Life itself is composed of choices. The choices that we make can lead us down many different paths. In order to follow the path that God has set out before us, it is important for us to speak life over death. Speaking the word of God can change a situation, problem, even a life. In his latest plan, David Villa shares how we can speak life over death.
Do you ever feel like life is one big guilt trip? We learn to hide guilt well and keep moving forward, but it’s always there distracting us from the freedom and grace that God offers. This 5-day plan explores God’s plan for guilt and helps us unleash the control it has over our lives. No longer do we have to live crippled by feelings of guilt.
We all experience difficult seasons of trial. This plan will encourage you through whatever dark time you are facing, guiding you from feelings of inadequacy through hoping when all seems dark to rejoicing on the other side. Refocus your heart on God’s character, and be pointed to his power, wisdom, faithfulness, and love instead of your circumstances or failures. You’ll be redirected to lean on God’s strength, not your own.
