While the sun was setting [marking the end of the Sabbath day], all those who had any who were sick with various diseases brought them to Jesus; and laying His hands on each one of them, He was healing them [exhibiting His authority as Messiah]. [Matt 8:16, 17; Mark 1:32-34] Demons also were coming out of many people, shouting, “You are the Son of God!” But He rebuked them and would not allow them to speak, because they knew that He was the Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed). When daybreak came, Jesus left [Simon Peter’s house] and went to a secluded place; and the crowds were searching for Him, and [they] came to Him and tried to keep Him from leaving them. But He said, “I must preach [the good news of] the kingdom of God to the other cities also, because I was sent for this purpose.”

We know that God is able to heal us and can heal us but so often we don’t know how to pray specifically for our healing or that for a loved one. In this 3-day plan, pray with us to Jesus for specific physical, emotional, and mental healing. That our bodies and minds would be restored. That the Lord would release the fullness of health and healing to you, your friends, and family.
Between errands, appointments, and other tasks, you’ve got a lot on your plate each day! Of course, it’s all important—but what’s the MOST important thing? In this 5-day reading plan, Pete Briscoe encourages you to consider what matters most… the Gospel of Grace!
This plan is written for people who help others. It’s a 5-day devotional with simple journal prompts designed to help you recover your first love for Jesus, find healing for yourself, and receive God’s commendation to continue helping others.
