Judges 11:12-15 AMP

Now Jephthah sent messengers to the king of the Ammonites, saying, “What is [the problem] between you and me, that you have come against me to fight in my land?” The Ammonites’ king replied to the messengers of Jephthah, “It is because Israel took away my land when they came up from Egypt, from the [river] Arnon as far as the Jabbok and [east of] the Jordan; so now, return those lands peaceably.” But Jephthah sent messengers again to the king of the Ammonites, and they said to him, “This is what Jephthah says: ‘Israel did not take the land of Moab or the land of the Ammonites.

Judges 11:32-33 AMP

Then Jephthah crossed over to the Ammonites to fight with them; and the LORD gave them into his hand. And from Aroer to the entrance of Minnith he struck them, twenty cities, and as far as Abel-keramim (brook by the vineyard), with a very great defeat. So the Ammonites were subdued and humbled before the Israelites.
