So Haman took the royal robe and the horse and dressed Mordecai, and led him on horseback through the open square of the city, proclaiming before him, “This is what shall be done for the man whom the king desires to honor.” Then Mordecai returned to the king’s gate. ALL things are working for your good! As a believer, we are constantly faced with trials in our lives. Sometimes we may think that God is being unfair to us or may have even forgotten about us, but as we review the life of Queen Esther, I trust you will have a God perspective when the storms are raging, and fires keep igniting because ALL things are working for your good.
Children of God have absolutely nothing to worry about. Although the enemy comes at different angles to challenge, trick or attempt to thwart the plans of God for one’s life, God has already fixed everything for the believer who walks according to His will, word and way. In the BOOMERANG Bible plan readers will discover in scripture that there are consequences to every action, plan and decision.
Read in this 5-day devotional the far-reaching consequences of pride, hate and bitterness. Even though Haman had received a promotion, he was never satisfied. The Bible says that “God resists the proud”. We see this clearly in the life of Haman, when God turned the tables on him and the gallows that he had set up for Mordecai became the gallows on which he was hung. Don’t be a Haman.
