2 SAMUEL 1:19

In a world filled with distractions, it is easy to get lost in the noise of popular opinion. Everyone tells you to fight for your rights and stand up for yourself, yet we never consider the cost of always being self-seeking. Look into the importance of seeing the big picture by studying the lives of David, Daniel, and Joseph in this 4-day plan.

Can the same person be both genuinely great and genuinely broken? Second Samuel answers yes — and refuses to let either verdict cancel the other. Through the arc of David's reign, from coronation to catastrophe and beyond, this 7-day plan explores what success cannot protect against, what forgiveness does and does not undo, what real accountability looks like, and why the grace that matters most is not the kind that prevents darkness but the kind that stays present within it.

2 Samuel is all about Jesus! This 9-day plan will walk you through the book of 2 Samuel by reading just a chapter or two a day. Each day is accompanied by a short devotional and video that explains what’s happening and shows you how each part of the story points to Jesus and his Gospel.

And yet, their lives contain valuable lessons for us — which is why they were recorded in the Bible! This reading plan studies the lives of Jonathan and David and their friendship.
