You’ll watch the God of Israel miraculously reconcile and restore Joseph and his family, while you reflect on your own journey of healing.

Out of the Mire follows the life of Joseph - a betrayed slave who waited patiently on God to save him. Covering topics of arrogance, dissatisfaction, guilt, and fear, discover how God shines His light in Joseph's life in unexpected ways. In the middle of your trials, this eight-day study will encourage you to persevere and trust God at your lowest point.

In this 11-day plan, you will study Genesis 37-50 which will take you through the life of Jacob and his 12 sons who later became the 12 tribes of Israel. These chapters highlight the life of one of those sons, Joseph, and his journey of hardship and forgiveness. We hope you’ll learn the importance of trusting God through difficult times and learning to forgive those who hurt or disappoint you.

This plan helps to rethink the Biblical view of pleasure and shows how our pursuit of pleasure mirrors our pursuit of God. By revisiting the goodness of God in Scripture, we also see one of His greatest parts of creation emerge anew. This is the “life to the full” Jesus told us about.
