The Bible says love is great and indispensable. It tells us to love the people around us. But most of all, the Bible speaks about God’s amazing love for us humans and invites us to love Him back with all our hearts. Do you love God?

Some people joke that they’d rather be in hell drinking with their buddies than in heaven with stuffy saints. But these people are completely blind to its reality and meaning. The church at Corinth was plagued by internal division and sinful derision. Paul provides the only solution potent enough for their disunity and spiritual disruptions: “Jesus Christ and Him crucified” (1 Corinthians 1:10). 1 Corinthians reminds us that by focusing on Jesus and His glorious resurrection, we too will “be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the word of the Lord” (1 Corinthians 15:58).
