II Samuel 24:8

King David is described in the New Testament as a man after God’s own heart, meaning that he aligned his own heart with that of God’s. As we study David’s life, our goal for this series is to analyze the things David did in 1 & 2 Samuel in order to mold our hearts after God’s and resemble the same intensity of focus and spirit that David showcased throughout his life.

Open mindedness to others and with other points of view and ways of doing things is a characteristic that does not come to us naturally.  As Christians, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ calls us to live in vibrant fellowship with other believers, cutting across color, race, culture or nationality.  At the workplace and in the church we are called to be open to receive suggestions and even criticisms to help nurture our Christian growth.

Live a life of faith at work. Many Christian men today think eternal impact is only made on the mission field, but God wants to use you in your profession. These devotions by Os Hillman will encourage you to pursue God’s mission for you and share God’s hope in your workplace. No matter what your job title is, you can lead for God at work today.

Have you ever seen someone’s hands go up in surrender when frustration overwhelms them? It’s the same position we assume in the physical act of worship. Although spiritual warfare is ever-present in the life of a believer, worship is a weapon to counter everything that attempts to distance and distract us from the Lord's presence. Join Liv Dooley through a seven-day plan to discover the power in surrender.
