“Stand at the gate of the LORD’s house and there proclaim this message: “ ‘Hear the word of the LORD, all you people of Judah who come through these gates to worship the LORD. This is what the LORD Almighty, the God of Israel, says: Reform your ways and your actions, and I will let you live in this place. Do not trust in deceptive words and say, “This is the temple of the LORD, the temple of the LORD, the temple of the LORD!” If you really change your ways and your actions and deal with each other justly, if you do not oppress the foreigner, the fatherless or the widow and do not shed innocent blood in this place, and if you do not follow other gods to your own harm, then I will let you live in this place, in the land I gave your ancestors for ever and ever. But look, you are trusting in deceptive words that are worthless. “ ‘Will you steal and murder, commit adultery and perjury, burn incense to Baal and follow other gods you have not known, and then come and stand before me in this house, which bears my Name, and say, “We are safe”—safe to do all these detestable things? Has this house, which bears my Name, become a den of robbers to you? But I have been watching! declares the LORD.

5 Days
This five-day journey through scripture outlines our responsibility as believers in bringing about justice and racial reconciliation.
Our highest privilege is to worship our holy and gracious Creator. But how do we worship God in a way that is pleasing to Him? What should the style and structure of the church’s worship look like, and what about the state of our heart as we come before the Lord in praise? This five-day study touches on each of these questions, providing a brief introduction to biblical worship.
God’s people face a daily choice between obedience and obstinance. It marked Israel’s history. It marks ours too. Acts 7 is a face-off between obedience and obstinance as Jesus’s Kingdom continues to grow. This 5-day Plan continues a journey through the Book of Acts, the Bible’s gripping sequel of Jesus at work in the life of His followers as He expands His Kingdom to the ends of the Earth. It’s a journey on what it means to be a Christian. It’s a story in which you have a role to play.
When Christian leaders fail, people are harmed, and the name of Jesus is disgraced. Sadly, there have been many examples of this in recent decades, and many of us have been impacted personally by it. This 5-day plan (part 2 of the Embracing the Fall series) will help you find hope amid the losses and recognise the opportunities we all have to renew a culture of honor for the whole church.
