It does not belong to us, LORD. The glory belongs to you because of your love and loyalty. Why do the nations ask, “Where is their God?” Our God is in heaven. He does what he pleases. Their idols are made of silver and gold, the work of human hands. They have mouths, but they cannot speak. They have eyes, but they cannot see. They have ears, but they cannot hear. They have noses, but they cannot smell. They have hands, but they cannot feel. They have feet, but they cannot walk. No sounds come from their throats. People who make idols will be like them, and so will those who trust them. Family of Israel, trust the LORD; he is your helper and your protection. Family of Aaron, trust the LORD; he is your helper and your protection. You who respect the LORD should trust him; he is your helper and your protection. The LORD remembers us and will bless us. He will bless the family of Israel; he will bless the family of Aaron. The LORD will bless those who respect him, from the smallest to the greatest.

Have you ever wanted to get inside the mind of a pastor? Well, here’s your chance! The founding and senior pastor of Life.Church, Craig Groeschel, gives us an inside look at his daily routine as he reads through the last four verses he highlighted in his Bible. Allow your mind to be renewed as you read these Scriptures along with him, and find out why he chose to highlight them in the first place.

We were created to worship. But, what do we mean when we talk about worship? In this plan, we’ll talk about what worship is, why we worship, and how.
True worship always leads to change because of the One we worship. These songs of ‘Change’ are our anthems, our honest prayers, and the cry of our hearts. As we worship, we believe that God’s kingdom is on the move. Join the Bright City team on this 5-day devotional, where together, we will sing change over our lives and our cities.
This 5-day plan will weave Scripture together with William Wilberforce’s own words to show how the redemptive work of Christ led Wilberforce to embrace his own vocation in politics as a means of ending slavery. As we will see modeled in the life of Wilberforce, the gospel changes everything about our work, from our motivations for work, to what we do, to how we work each day.
