After the soldiers crucified Jesus, they took his clothes and divided them into four parts, with each soldier getting one part. They also took his long shirt, which was all one piece of cloth, woven from top to bottom. So the soldiers said to each other, “We should not tear this into parts. Let’s throw lots to see who will get it.” This happened so that this Scripture would come true: “They divided my clothes among them, and they threw lots for my clothing.” So the soldiers did this. Standing near his cross were Jesus’ mother, his mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene. When Jesus saw his mother and the follower he loved standing nearby, he said to his mother, “Dear woman, here is your son.” Then he said to the follower, “Here is your mother.” From that time on, the follower took her to live in his home.

There doesn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason to God’s blessings. Christians are suffering all over the world; some are living in poverty while others are rich. There must be more to the idea of blessing than money. Right? Does God want to bless you? And how? And why? Join Bible teacher Berni Dymet from Christianityworks for a three-day plan that’s all about God’s blessings in your life!
Jesus didn’t have to keep going—but He did. This three-day plan walks through the journey from Good Friday to Easter, inviting you to reflect on Christ’s suffering, the weight of the cross, and the hope of resurrection. Discover how His sacrifice redefines our pain and redemption through scripture, contemplation, and prayer.
The WORD on the cross... The WORD in the grave... The WORD resurrected... Day 1 examines Jesus' final words on the cross. Day 2 contemplates the silence of Saturday—the "between" day when Jesus lay in the tomb. Day 3 celebrates how Jesus, as the Word, offers the final, triumphant word over sin and death.
This short three day walk will lead you to three biblical mountains. Studying them will help you to get a deeper understanding of the biblical Gospel. Great to share with unbelievers as well!
