After many days, they made plans to kill Saul. They were watching the city gates day and night, but Saul learned about their plan. This study will look at the challenges and necessities of forgiveness, showing how God’s forgiveness leads us to rest.
Faith and work are not at odds with each other. We hear lots of tips about how to do our work better, but can we apply those tips to our faith?
This reading plan from Scarlet Hiltibidal is an invitation to give up your striving, to accept that you are the worst, to embrace that you are poor in spirit, and to receive the perfect love from the very best: Jesus. God’s offering to us—the broken, the hopeless, the try-hards, and the imperfect—leads us to humility, repentance, and dependence on Jesus as our Savior. That’s where we find freedom and joy.
Just before Jesus left the earth, he commissioned His people to move towards people! Like the early disciples, the roads we travel are meant to lead us to others. A life with Jesus involves slowing down to recognize the places our lives intersect with others! In this study, we’re following the life of Paul the Apostle through 4 monumental moments that led him into deep community with others. At each stop, Paul found a relationship he needed - relationships we need too! We’ll also explore “one another” commands in Scripture that help us connect more deeply with those around us!
