He said, ‘The God of our ancestors chose you long ago to know his plan, to see the Righteous One, and to hear words from him. You will be his witness to all people, telling them about what you have seen and heard. Now, why wait any longer? Get up, be baptized, and wash your sins away, trusting in him to save you.’ “Later, when I returned to Jerusalem, I was praying in the Temple, and I saw a vision. I saw the Lord saying to me, ‘Hurry! Leave Jerusalem now! The people here will not accept the truth about me.’ But I said, ‘Lord, they know that in every synagogue I put the believers in jail and beat them. They also know I was there when Stephen, your witness, was killed. I stood there agreeing and holding the coats of those who were killing him!’ But the Lord said to me, ‘Leave now. I will send you far away to the other nations.’ ”

Zach Williams’ song, “Rescue Story” is about how Jesus lifts us up from the ashes. Every time we run away from Him, He is louder than our shame. Jesus is patient with us - He’s been preparing us for our rescue since before birth. Join me in this reading plan to reflect on our rescue stories, inspired by Zach Williams’ music. –Ted Barrett, Minister and Umpire for Major League Baseball

The Bible tells us to always be prepared to give an answer about our faith to everyone who asks (1 Peter 3:15). But writing a testimony is difficult and most of us have never done it. With this reading plan, we want to change that and also help write your testimony of faith. Read this plan, and then visit our website listed at the end of Day 4 of the reading plan to get started.

Your testimony is a powerful tool we should all be able to share with others. Even if you have never shared your story, this Bible reading plan can help you to discover the why, the how, and the who of sharing your testimony. Whether you are a new follower of Jesus or have walked with Jesus for a long time, you have a story. Go and tell your story.
You are about to enter a journey of experiencing revival through the principle of God’s altar—not only an ancient concept but a necessary part of worship today. This altar is where you present worship and praise. It is a place of anointing, which breaks the yoke of the enemy. It is a place of overcoming and daily communion. Rebuild your altar—and let the fire of God fall!
